Flow Simulations, Inc. has used modeled large external flows around buildings, heat exchangers, and compressor units. Natural convection, tracking of diffuse species, and solar radiation have been included in some of these models. The simulated flow patterns have agreed very well with empirical 'smoke bomb' tests as recorded on video tape.
